With the plethora of mobile applications right now that ranges from productivity tool to legal, we can really say that the small business technology is very much alive and kicking all the way through 2011 and potentially to 2012.

With these numerous applications, it is getting much cheaper and easier to run a business. And the great news for businesses is most of these are keen on helping small businesses. And some of these mobile applications are free and “freemium”, which means that it is free for basic version and then if you like it’s features, you can upgrade it for a fee. I’m going to share to you some of the best applications out there for businesses.

First, let’s focus on the sales management category. In addition, in this section, we have the Roambi. It enables users to gain the latest business intelligence of their mobile phones as they can import files from excel spreadsheet and transfer it to SAP or Salesforce. This mobile application enables user to create, view and edit sales accounts, leads, opportunities and also contacts. This mobile app is free.

Then we’ll head over to communication . And in this section, we have the Skype. It allows users to receive and make calls via Skype and converse for free. This is a free application. And then for those who are handling clients from different countries, they can greatly benefit from Google Translate as it allows users to translate word and phrases from more than fifty countries and this application if free. Then we have the Fuze Meeting, it enables users to partake in meetings online. Therefore, wherever they are they can attend meetings via real-time sharing. And this is application is for free as well.
